Five admission-free concerts will be offered in the lineup of the four-day program, to be held in Kızılkule Square and organized by the local municipality, the Cihan news agency reported. The first concert in the lineup will feature Sibel Tüzün, who is mainly known for her work as a vocalist in varied genres such as pop and rock but not widely known as a jazz vocalist. Tüzün will share the stage with jazz pianist Selen Gülün and her ensemble at next Thursday's concert, which will start at 9 p.m. The İstanbul-based American bass guitarist Tony Jones and his trio, made up of Uraz Kıvaner on piano and Poland's Monica Bulanda on drums, will be onstage the following night at 9 p.m. The event's third day will feature two concerts, with the first one, scheduled for 8:30 p.m., featuring the thriving Turkish guitarist Bilal Karaman on the same stage with Sweden's Gustav Lundgren Quartet. The second gig of the day, set to start at 10 p.m., will see the İmer Demirer Quartet play a selection of jazz standards featuring Ayşe Gencer on vocals. The Alanya Jazz Days will wrap up with a concert by pianist-composer Aşkın Arsunan and his band, the Blueprint Project, set for Oct. 19 at 9 p.m.
