Clash RockedNess!!

Fireworks above the main stage to celebrate the end of Rockness

Daft Punk rock the Clash Arena at Rockness 2007 and the Manics maul the main stage ( above )

After last years successful one-day ‘taster’ with Fat Boy Slim – Rockness this year opened its stride by doubling the days, doubling the capacity and expanding its range of music on offer to please both festival rocker and festival raver.

Clash were proudly brought on board to host the second stage – a tent which was to play home to headliners Groove Armada and Daft Punk on the Saturday and Sunday respectively, both days culminating in huge queues at the side of the heaving 10k capacity arena as kids clambered to see their headline heroes.

Several festival sites lay claim to possessing the most beautiful locations – The Secret Garden, Skye, Oban and Dunstaffage, and of course the ley-lined stone circled Glastonbury greenfelds - but Rockness, especially on a day as cloud free and ideally tempered as last Saturday, would give any of these a run for their money as its valley gently lopes towards the lapping edges of Loch Ness with all its promise of myth and monster.

The line up itself wasn’t short of monsters (or relentless punning onstage by banterful bands) and one couldn’t help presume that the Automatic were drafted in for their one ‘Monster’ song alone after last year’s coup-de-grace from Norman Cook as he dropped their anthem into his bottomless mix. Whether such depths would yield any other elusive beasts of euphoria this year remained the stuff of delightful speculation, with most of the smart money being on the Clash tent’s anthemic gallic climax on Sunday night.

Saturday:
Saturday was borne straight into four to the floor sunshine and the largely Scottish crowd wasted little time in soaking it up, and the loch side view, and all manner of free flowing festival treats. The Clash stage opened up with the pounding Freeform Five and the crowds were in full effect and up for immediate carnage as they bounced to every track. As the afternoon progressed sets by the XX Teens, Elektrons, DJ Yoda and Caged Baby pushed the sweaty tent to capacity before Groove Armada caused somewhat of a kerfuffle as fans found themselves embargoed by the fuzz as demand outstripped dancing space all through their gleefully received set.

On the open and long grassed hill which sloped perfectly down to the main stage, Saturday afternoon’s flailers were treated to a much more diverse programme than the inaugural year of dance. The perfectly billed Kelis rubbed shoulders with the Charlatans, whilst The Cuban Brothers hilarious antics was a perfect light-hearted remedy for clouded minds and sun baked bodies.

The highlight of the Saturday was always going to be the Chemical Brothers, and they certainly turned up. Fans who were expecting hit after hit would have been disappointed, but revellers after a more underground mix up as Tom and Ed threw in samples and bastardised mash-ups to bridge their chart moments, lapped up the amazing performance and equally impressive light show rapturously.

Sunday:
The second day started much slower with slightly less characters populating the shores of the Loch. One desirable festival suspect noticeably absent was the sun, which obviously chose to stay in his tent all day meaning the once dripping hill was slightly less body-strewn as the Draytones doled out their indie anthems and Pull Tiger Tail did their best to fire up a growing crowd with a multitude of Tiger masks.

Evening on the main stage constituted of The Feeling, The Automatic and The Manic Street Preachers, with the Clash stage purveying Soulwax and Daft Punk, and thus the site was cleaved into dance versus rock.

Unfortunately for those wanting to see Daft Punk - the queues started four hours ahead of their set with the equally tempting Mark Ronson and Soulwax live sets only compounding the popularity. Thankfully the sides of the tent were eventually rolled up so that many more could enjoy.

The French electro heroes did make their crowd wait, but when they did appear you knew it would be worth the delay. Immediately launching into a thunderous version of Robot Rock, they effortlessly sailed through re-edits and live versions of all their classics, One More Time, Da Funk, Around The World all being received particularly evangelically. Their sound was interesting throughout, the light show was again integral to the show, and the crowd absolutely loved it, as the masters of dance music once again proved that when it comes to rocking a festival tent, dance music is very much alive and kicking. In fact they knocked the spots of the Manics, who came out of their massive double backstage VIP tipi to deliver a strong set, but one lacking the euphoric atmosphere and the hair raising punch of the Clash Arena’s finale.

An awesome weekend, where summer truly arrived upon our loch side shores.

You can’t imagine how envious I am about seeing Daft Punk…

  2. 2 Paul Jun 13th, 2007 at 8:49 pm

I was there for daft punk after waiting for 5 and a half hours in the clash tent and it was worth every minute of the wait! (yes, even the lack of beer and having to pee inside of the tent :O )
The video doesn’t do justice to the atmosphere and how loud the crowd were. The equally massive crowd outside waiting too reminded me how lucky I had been to get in with them jointly shouting down to the manics who were playing the main stage at the same time to ’shut it’ - certainly made me smile.
Also have to mention soulwax nite versions who were on before daft punk, first time I’d seen them but certainly won’t be the last. Great choice for just before daft punk.

    daft punk = epic

  4. 4 Jonny Jun 13th, 2007 at 9:56 pm

Took advantage of the folk storming the gates to get into the Clash tent and reviled in a epic show by Daft Punk

    Rock Ness Sunday 2000:
Oh dear… the tent is surprisingly empty… for the hundreds earlier on there are now just 7 folk as the next band come on stage. I fear the worst, as most of the acts so far have been Scottish, so were bound to pull some sort of crowd… the final 3 acts are from The Faroe Islands, Norway and Northern Ireland. As Faroese 3-piece 200 continue, a few more people do arrive… but it would certainly be stretching the truth to say it’s busy. It’s a shame really, as this is one of the best bands I’ve seen. Intense punk rock, though sung in their native tongue so they could be singing about anything. It’s incendiary to say the least, and there’s a strong nationalist edge: “This one’s about when the Danish Queen came to visit. The bitch.” Later on: “We heard about your separatist party having a good election. Congratulations.” I might just have found my favourite new band… how cool is it to be into a band from The Faroe Islands! I meet Gis, who’s involved in a festival in The Faroes called ‘G!’. He invites me along… Now that would be fun! Bet it’s really expensive to get there, but it could be a once in a lifetime experience. The pics on the flyer he hands me look amazing… and I thought Loch Ness was a stunning location for a festival. Check it out at www.Gfestival.com.

Daft Punk was the most euphoric moment of my life and worth every single minute of the wait!! No video or photograph will ever be able to express what it was like to be right in the centre of the pyramid up close dancing with the one and only Daft Punk. Absolute legends!

  7. 7 Lost & Found Jun 13th, 2007 at 11:40 pm

Daft Punk proved they are certainly still the masters of Dance Music and that no Justice or digitalism look like they are ready to take that crown…..yet!

Seen em twice gig of my life both times!!

  10. 10 Salsa Snake Jun 14th, 2007 at 12:02 pm

An absolutely quality weekend, a lot of people from amateurville around collapsing though. Daft Punk and the Chemicals were brilliant. Off the scale. The security guards could of done with a bit of an attitude bypass, hopefully they will not be there next year. Looking forward to another Rockmess in 2008.

  11. 11 Nessies love child Jun 14th, 2007 at 12:58 pm

Daft Punk made Rockness 2008, it was truely amazing.

Do Clash have any intentions of releasing a copy of DP’s live set so I can re-live the most amazing set I will ever see in my life?

The chem’ bro’s were epic as well. Didn’t see much else as I was too drunk to do anything =)

  12. 12 Lee Milne Jun 14th, 2007 at 1:01 pm

    Missed Daft punk, gutted!
But second that releasing a copy of their set!

    The Chemicals were awesome too!

  13. 13 Lucifer Jun 14th, 2007 at 1:06 pm

After my eyes stopped rolling back in my head I had a fantastic weekend. I did lose my wallet and phone right enough, if anyone finds them please send them back to me c/o William Telfer, The Depths of Depression, Amateurville.

  14. 14 Gerry Jun 14th, 2007 at 1:40 pm

I went to rockness right, I 1st of all stepped into my car put my seatbelt on, started the engine, indicated to pull out. I then decided to stop for some petrol. so i thought where can i get petrol. The whole time i was listening to Now 4 (1st ever Now on CD)……….the story continues………… but since i am limited to 2000 words………..I love Rockness!

  15. 15 Jangles Jun 14th, 2007 at 1:50 pm

    Simply…

    I was there!!

  16. 16 Les Jun 14th, 2007 at 1:52 pm

    Daft Punk were absolutely phenomenal!
We were in that tent from 17.00 and had logistically planned everything from hydration, positioning and pee-management (so we wouldn’t have to leave the tent to pee OR be a manky bugger and pee IN the tent!)

Please please please PLEASE release a copy of that Daft Punk set… you’d make a MINT!!! And I’d get to relive the most incredible moments of my life so far! Utterly euphoric!

  17. 17 Adam Jun 14th, 2007 at 2:24 pm

Their Kanye collaboration is going to be huge!

  18. 18 Im not sorry Jun 14th, 2007 at 7:16 pm

ok well all of you dieing to hear the Daft Punk set again, ive got the next best thing for the meantime. Daft Punk live at Coachella last year. This is a extremely similar set as to what they done, sadly no immense encore of stardust etc. But im sure this will fill the viod, for the meantime i hope,

Deffinately need to get a decent recording of the whole set. daft punk are alot better than people are letting on. must be some kind of sectret to try and keep it exclusive. honestly, probably the best live act i’ve ever seen, and im a metalhead!

  22. 22 Debbie Jun 15th, 2007 at 12:55 pm

Took full advantage of the crowd storming the Clash tent around 9 o’clock on Sunday. Felt a bit nervous at the obvious overwhelming number of people trying to squeeze in (i’m only a wee lassie!!) However, when Daft Punk finally arrived onstage I new I was witnessing a legendary festival moment!! Daft Punk absolutley rocked the ness and I hope they do more Scottish gigs in the future!!

A note on next years gig - Although i’m also a fan of rock/indie music etc. I feel rockness should remain primarily as a dance event. As far as I know the only other major dance event in Scotland just now is Coloursfest at Breahead - down south they have global gathering etc.

  23. 23 Richie P Jun 15th, 2007 at 1:18 pm

Yeah i agree, keep it to Dance, leave the rock/indie to T in the park

  24. 24 Sicc Jun 15th, 2007 at 1:19 pm

Why are the Chems dissing Daft Punk? i hint abit of Jealousy there because Daft Punk seem to be the talk of the festival

  25. 25 Marc McLean Jun 15th, 2007 at 4:15 pm

Been clubbin and going to festivals for 7 years - and nothing has, or ever will, come close to how amazing Daft Punk were!! The set, lights show, and atmosphere was mindblowing!

  26. 26 Trixi Jun 15th, 2007 at 7:23 pm

Daft Punk were banging, lost my phone, got burnt but who cares it was ace, reckon you’s are right, no contest Rockness should be just about the dancing…

  27. 27 Sicc Jun 15th, 2007 at 11:51 pm

i only have two problems with Rockness this year

    1. Where did Justice go on the Lineup, they were one of the reasons i bought my ticket (main one being daft punk)

    2. Why didnt Dub Pistols come on stage???

  28. 28 Nessies love child Jun 16th, 2007 at 12:47 am

    Sicc mate,

Reason Chems were have a minor moan about DP were due to the fact that they:

    a) demanded a helicopter to take them there,
    b) fenced off the whole of the back stage so no one could see them without there helmets on,
    c) the left tin the copter the second the gig finished and didnt stay to take in any of the festival.

The chems stayed after there set, took in vibe, saw other acts and even went into Inverness and had a curry (supposedly). That was there main gripe but who cares really. They can do what they want to do.

  29. 29 Nessies love child Jun 16th, 2007 at 12:56 am

    To “Im not sorry”,

You my friend are a f**king legend! I have been hunting for this for ages as I came to the conclusion that Clash werent going to release the Rockness set.

It is practically the same set as you said. I have a source to track listings if anyone needs it.

  30. 30 Sicc Jun 16th, 2007 at 1:23 am

    To Nessie Loves Child..

yeah i admit the helicopter is alot to ask but if chemical brothers had of asked i`m sure they`d of got one also!!

but after they finished, because they came on late, everything was over and everything but merch and bars were shut so they couldnt have seen anything, i`d like to know what acts chems saw after they finished haha because they festival was again, finished for the night, you maybe mean on the sunday?? so they cant hold that against daft punk because there was nothing to see when they had finished

the helmet closing backstage thing, too right, their image since along time ago has been their suits and helmets, any pictures of them without them on at a fest would ruin that illusion they put across

i think its jealousy, because Daft Punk are clearly the talk of the festival and the chems dont like it, daft punks set easily wipes the floors of chemical brothers, and i love them both, daft punk came out on top and i`m sure most others would agree

  31. 31 DAVY Jun 16th, 2007 at 3:45 am

Seeing that video of DaftPunk is making me fucking Sad!!! The best night of my life!! I was right in the midle!! Cant w8 for nxt year. ROCKNESS 2008 HERE WE FUCKING GO!! 1 MORE TIME WERE GOING TO CELEBRATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. 32 Nessies love child Jun 16th, 2007 at 12:08 pm

    To Sicc,

Mate, I don’t disagree with you one bit on the jealousy part. I only provided the reasons which had been in circulation as into why the Chems with having a bitch about DP.

I think it is jealousy as well. When you see the videos of the Chems live set there light displays and video wall were a bit naff compared to DP’s but apparently they needeed more space on the main stage that they didnt have so they couldnt do exactly what they wanted to do (another excuse perhaps?)

Mind you I am totally loving the Chems new song that was played non stop at Rockness by a lot of DJ’s/acts. Going to get it when it comes out on Monday.

  33. 33 Sicc Jun 16th, 2007 at 12:12 pm

yeah i love it too hah and the videos pretty good!!

yeah i read that the stage was too small for them to fit all their stuff on, which i can actually believe because the first thing i thought when i saw the main stage was “woah thats small” :D

  34. 34 Greg Jun 16th, 2007 at 12:16 pm

It’s not fair to say the Chemical Brothers slammed Daft Punk, they just commented on the fact they used a chopper it was the tabloid hack who dressed it up as an attack. Tom and Ed are very laid back guys, I think they could handle being over-shadowed by Daft Punk.

I saw the Chemical brothers on Saturday and didn’t expect anything to beat their set, it was just unbelievable and I didn’t stop bouncing the whole time. I was glad to heara more underground set and not just the big hits but ‘Do It Again’ was definitely the highlight. The laser/light/video show blew me away, it’s the first time I’ve seen them in 7 years (Homelands 2000) and they are so much better now.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OfyWHr6-Qo

I almost gave Daft Punk a miss, I’m not a huge fan of their newer studio stuff and I’d never seen footage of them live. I saw the huge queues at 6pm and resigned to missing out but I wandered near the tent at 9pm and somehow I managed to just waltz straight in, the side was off by this point and I got right into the middle.

They were out of this world, I’ve never seen or heard anything quite like it. The light show was mesmerising and the set, faultless. When they cut the music during One More Time and the whole crowd was singing I think I actually cried a bit. I get goosebumps when I watch the video. Amazing.

  35. 35 luke Jun 16th, 2007 at 3:52 pm

Ive been going to gigs and festivals since i was 16 im now 29 ive seen hundreds of bands and djs from indie to dance including the chems but never seen daft punk so i was excited about watching both. the chemical brothers and daft punk are two of the best dance acts around and i thought the chems set was brilliantly put together the underground style of set with that incredible see through video wall with what i thourght was the best visuals ive ever seen (that evil clown was awesome)and tom and ed great lads, but i think the stage and the sound system were nt big enough for there sound i felt it didnt have same punch as the clash tent but still top marks lads i loved it. Daft punk though were simple the greatest thing ive ever seen and i think theres alot of reasons for this the wait heightend everyones expectation so when they came on the europhoria was insane the sound system was pretty perfect with amazing punch, the light show was absolutly ingenious it seemed the variations were endless, and then youve got daft punk themselves, the two robots looking down on us it almost felt unreal like you watching something that wasnt human but im sure thats i idea !i felt they had a messege and i also think that there privacy is so important to keeping daft punk alive. Anyway im sure you can tell i was overwelmed by the experience all i have to do now is try and beat it any suggestions ?

  36. 36 Sicc Jun 16th, 2007 at 4:20 pm

“all i have to do now is try and beat it any suggestions ?”

    daft punk again?

  37. 37 Jeff Jun 17th, 2007 at 1:43 am

Daft Punk and Shitdisco were amazing in the clash tent. There were so many glow sticks being thrown about in Shitdisco it was quite an atmosphere for so early in the day. Apart from a few more I barely knew the names of many other acts playing. Maybe a better mixture next year would be good, a bit of post rock, electro, metal, dance etc.

  38. 38 Steven Jun 17th, 2007 at 8:45 am

METAL!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? thats what download, reading and leeds and T is for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  39. 39 Madmick2020 Jun 17th, 2007 at 8:44 pm

Rockness was great only moan I have was messing about with DJ yoda’s time and I dont think you’s realised how huge he is until it was close to him playing the smaller tent then you move him to the clash tent still great weekend though im sure it will get better every year.

  40. 40 Jaynie Bee Jun 17th, 2007 at 11:21 pm

You cant explain how electrifying the atmosphere was, and I have respect for daft punk for keeping their identity secret, I loved the idea that they could have been at the festival as normal people the whole weekend, maybe they were late as they were late leaving the festival to get flown in!

DP were honestly out of this world, they made the whole weekend for me, i was still on a high from it days later!! have to say Soulwax were a brilliant pre-daft punk warm up!

  41. 41 Adam Jun 17th, 2007 at 11:54 pm

In regards to Daft Punk’s appearance, I still have the copy of Jockey Slut which put them on the cover and prompted them never to appear in public again…

  42. 42 Steven Jun 18th, 2007 at 1:12 am

yup i could recognise thomas, saw him dj last year, but guy i wouldnt know!

  43. 43 donald w Jun 18th, 2007 at 8:55 am

i fucking love daft punk!!!!!!!!!rolling n scratchin, fireworks and a bottle of poppers is 1 fucking awesome combo!!!! roll on 2008!!!!

  44. 44 james the cat Jun 18th, 2007 at 1:33 pm

““all i have to do now is try and beat it any suggestions ?”

    daft punk again?”

I think daft punk should deffinately be hounded to play again next year. Nothing will ever ever top it, so why not just have it again!! Actually the only thing in he world right now that could possibly top it would be RATM. The reason i say this is because last year daft punk played cochella and this year RATM played. its a long shot. haha

  45. 45 Bobby Jun 18th, 2007 at 1:36 pm

Glad to see that the response to my video posted above has been very positive. There are plenty more videos of the Daft Punk set and others similar in quality to that one on my website http://www.bobbyanderson.co.uk and YouTube channel - just search for bobbyanderson1984 - enjoy!

  46. 46 Iain Jun 19th, 2007 at 4:16 pm

I came back to Scotland from Dubai just for Rockness after seeing the line up! what a weekend! Daft punk just pipped it for me but why on earth they were not on the main stage defeats me. Anyone who suggests that it wouldnt have worked merely had to witness chemical brothers the night before.

To top it all ironically I got sunburnt on the saturday but scotland never makes a habit of doing good weather two days in a row thank god and sunday being overcast all day was absolute bliss.

My friends and I have now decided to make it an annual event to for us all to catch up I couldnt think of a better setting and atmosphere.

Thanks to firend and the organisers of Rockness for an awsome weekend

  47. 47 cheucterboy Jun 20th, 2007 at 3:14 pm

Was right down the front for chemicals but to wasted to remember much but saw them at Carling Academy and they were top notch, was more sober on Sun and what a lead up to DP - soulwax were quality and daft punk - what can i say that hasn’t already been said, total goosepimples watching it back, amazing.

Get it sorted for next year, scrap the small dance tent(s) and get the likes of Daft Punk, Erol Alkan (that tent was tiny and rammed), Carl Cox (again) and the likes on the main stage or two main stages! Who wants to waste an hour or so Q-ing! And leave the “bands” at home :)

    Roll on next year!

  48. 48 Rocker Jun 22nd, 2007 at 12:15 pm

whats the point in calling it rockness if theres no rock music? by that i dont mean indie, i mean rock. saying that daft punk and chemical brothers are awesome. theres not enough rock festivals in the uk,only download really, bring on trivium, bullet, shadows and maiden.

  49. 49 cheucterboy Jun 22nd, 2007 at 2:42 pm

The first “Rock”ness was 2006 - line up was Fat Boy Slim, Carl Cox, Caged Baby, Mylo and a few others. No “rock” there, think it just fits in well with Loch Ness. More quality dance acts for next year please!

  50. 50 pdubski Jun 23rd, 2007 at 12:02 am

I was in the tent for DF and because it was so good, went to see them at the Wireless Festival in Leeds.
As we all know, they played in the tent at Rockness, and they played on the Main stage at Leeds. For all the people who didnt make it into the tent at Rockness, all I got to say is unlucky! The noise bouncing of the walls in tent was many times better than seeing them on the main stage. I’m glad they chose to play in the tent at RockNess, cause it was unbeatable! and unforgetable!

  51. 51 Lennie Jun 23rd, 2007 at 1:23 am

Was none to happy with the set up on sunday nite, as i never got to see daftpunk, Why the feck was daft punk not on the main stage, it was clear for all to see that every1 wanted to see them, there was a huge crowd (10,000 max) around the daftpunk tent and a wee crowd watching the Manics at the main stage, if daftpunk were at the main stage 10,000 would have doubled for sure!! noticed daftpunk played the O2 wireless fest after rockness and played on the main stage, what going on ? !! the manics!! did any1 go to rockness to see them ?

    The chemical brothers!! (BRILLANT) !!

  52. 52 Spaztor Jun 23rd, 2007 at 11:24 am

I was there for Daft Punk. I knew there was no chance of getting in late so I was there from the start of the day. didn’t leave my place in the front for love nor money! 7 hours later after all that dancing and crowd crunching to soulwax especially, Daft Punk FINALLY came on. Took a good hour of people flinging glow sticks over the curtain and complaining about their late arrival ;] But it was well worth it for them to set up those lights. Best gig I have ever been to.

Oh and I dont think we need any more rock festivals, I have never heard of a festival quite like Rockness. The UK needed a little electronica!

  53. 53 andrew c Jun 25th, 2007 at 10:57 pm

daft punk have stated that the reason why they dont show their faces is because they want to show they can be popular and sell records without showing their faces. hence them being insistant that no one seen them before going onstage. but the whole thing about them getting a chopper to the site, in all fairness its quite a remote site, and they were not the only artists to ask for that priveledge. anyway i was in there for half 4 and seen mark ronson who was fuckin by the way, although i was a wee bit gutted he didnt play his cover of apply some preassure, but playin apache made up for that. im surprised no one else has spoke about mark ronson.

  54. 54 Better Last Year Jun 26th, 2007 at 10:01 pm

Anyone else see Tim Deluxe on the SaturdaY?

Trying to remember if it was him who played Orbital’s Chime.

Dum, dum, dum, dum, dum, dum, dum. Total moment.

BTW Those who spent their time on the hill listening to adverts for an hour in-between bands wasted their festival.

    Ditch the bands.

  55. 55 sean Jun 27th, 2007 at 6:53 pm

oh, my god. the might DP. 5 hours in the tent, no beer, or pissing as i was up against the barrier at the front but it was FUCKING AMAZING. i even spoke to thomas bangalter’s missus! no gig has ever come close to that, just absolutely brilliant.

  56. 56 Graeme Jun 28th, 2007 at 1:40 pm

Gotta say - didn’t think anything could top Fatboy Slim last year (oh how quickly we forget) BUT Daft Punk MAY have just done it (need to spend a bit more time reflecting on that one to decide!)
Did anyone else see Daft Punk at the 02 Festival - they played outdoors and were AWESOME! Surely the main stage could have been good enough - especially if the highland mist that decended on Saturday night came back on the Sunday (God has a smoke machine!)
For next year - Fatboy Slim back again please with Daft Punk and maybe split the days in to Dance on Saturday and Rock on Sunday??? Maybe finish later to ensure darkness for acts that need it on Sat like the 4am finish of the Skye Music fest (altho Skye is all indoors but u know wot I mean!)
    Here’s to 2008 - Rock(ness) on!!

  57. 57 Stewart Jul 1st, 2007 at 10:04 pm

I travelled up on Friday from Stoke-on-Trent via RyanAir. From waking up on Friday to getting home on Monday the whole weekend was PERFECT, not one single low point yet many many highlights. Loved it, thanks Scotland. :D

Great people, great music, great line up, great event and one fantastic setting. Highlight of my year and I can’t see it being beaten.

Don’t spit the days dance/rock, the variety is good. Later so it goes dark! Does it go dark?
At 3am, Irish girl sticks her head out of nearby tent “What’s with this **** sun? Turn the **** light off!”

    Wicked.
