CELEBRITIES IN THE FIGHT
     Over the years, there have been quite a few celebrities that have offered their name, dollars, and efforts to the anti seal-hunt cause in varying capacities. These celebrities have a tremendous capacity to be effective activists due to the influence they have over the media and are always sought after by anti-sealing organizations.

     A list of celebrities that have been involved in seal hunt opposition are: Bridgette Bardot, Pierce Brosnan, Mick Jagger, John Paul DeJoria, Ed Bagley Jr., Martin Sheen, Dave Foreman,Farley Mowat, Linda Blair, Berkeley Breathed, Richard Dean Anderson, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.(Most of these people have been brought into the cause by way of Paul Watson and the Sea Shepherd.)
