RapidEye is pleased to communicate being a "Selected Landmark in the Land of Ideas" and therefore a winner of the nationwide competition "365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas". As part of this program RapidEye hosted an event to which local schools and the general public were invited to learn more about RapidEye - a place of new innovations and cultural diversity.

The event series "365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas" is part of the initiative "Germany - Land of Ideas" which partners with Deutsche Bank and runs under the patronage of Germany's federal president Horst Köhler. The initiative aims to convey a contemporary image of Germany inside and outside the country, highlighting Germany's strengths as a place for business. Each day this year a spotlight will be shown on one of the winners, who will present their innovative ideas to the public with an original event on that day. RapidEye has been selected in the category science, as it demonstrates Germany's spirit of innovation and creativity.
