The following is a simple tabular listing of names that have been applied to Trichocerei and other cacti formerly placed within that genus.
Photo pages and/or photo links for the listed plants will be steadily added as work progresses towards creating a public access Trichocereus recognition & information guide.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Bob Ressler who's beautiful
collection of Trichocerei images at Photopoint is heavily linked to as an
important image resource and also to all of the other cactus growers &
collectors, commercial and private who have shared their photos with us or
to whom we have links included. These are noted as they occur. We would also
like to thank Photopoint for their invaluable services.
As fast as time allows, the listed items will have descriptions added or created.
Some have been transfered to other genera such as Helianthocereus. (Synonymity is not yet indicated on the list but soon will be)
The (in-progress) monograph for the Trichocerei,
forthcoming by TROUT & VOOGELBREINDER, will describe the following
or include their proper assignment (or disposal).

of this list is still in progress; last updated on 28 Jan. 2001)

willing to attempt to resolve.
