Did You Know?

Trivia:
The killer's identity is not revealed until midway through the film. He attempts to evade detection by killing a member of a hiking expedition and taking his place. To keep the audience guessing as to the true identity of the villain, some of the hikers were played by actors known for playing bad guys: notably Clancy Brown, Frederick Coffin, and Andrew Robinson.See more »
Goofs:
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): While Knox (Tom Berenger) and Stantin (Sidney Poitier) are cooking out the night after Stantin saves Knox from falling into the gorge, Stantin mistakes the marmot Knox is cooking for rabbit and says that he has eaten rabbit in "lots of places" in the city. Knox quickly corrects him, and Stantin replies, "Marmot? What's a marmot?" Knox says, "A rodent." Stantin gets a queasy look and says, "A RODENT? You mean a rat?" Knox replies, "Kind of a big, hairy rat, yeah." Stantin then gets disgusted and says, "OH SH**!" However, a rabbit is a bigger, hairier member of the rodent family.See more »

An Amazing Adventure in the Wilderness! Totally Underrated!, 24 May 2003
Author: TheEightiesAreBack from Connecticut, USA

Its too bad they don't make this movie anymore...it has three great actors (Tom Berenger,Kirstie Alley, and Sidney Potier)..whats better than an FBI agent and an expert mountain man trying to hunt down an expert killer/theif in the mountains/wilderness..as they try to survive various obsticles of nature...
