League One side Carlisle United have signed striker Lee Miller from Middlesbrough on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old, who joins on a free transfer, has made just 18 appearances for the Teessiders since he completed a move from Aberdeen in February 2010.
Born in Lanark, he began his career at Falkirk and impressed enough to earn a £300,000 move to Bristol City in 2003.
Spells at Hearts and Dundee United followed before a move to Aberdeen, where he earned three Scotland caps.
Miller scored 42 goals in more than 150 appearances for the Dons and his form prompted a move to the Riverside under then Boro boss Gordon Strachan.
But since Strachan's departure Miller has found first-team opportunities limited.
In addition to a brace of outings for Boro last season, the striker also had spells on loan at Notts County and Scunthorpe, netting three goals in a combined 27 games, but has figured just once this term in Boro's Carling Cup win at Walsall earlier in the month.
