| Solar System Primary Ephemeris

This Ephemeris record the position and velocity vectors of Sun, all planets in Solar System and Pluto for June 28th 1969. The information required for making this ephemeris was taken from JPL NASA.
The starting conditions for DE405/LE405 were the result of two successive least-squares adjustments. The first adjustment was a solution for all of the relevant parameters whose values were best determined from the ephemeris data. Then, some of the parameters were rounded off (at a negligible level) for the sake of appearance and ease of use. These rounded values were then forced as known constants into the second solution which produced a minor adjustment to the other parameters.

Solar system is the home system of humanity. The primary star is the Sun a 6 billion years old G2V class star. The Earth, where humanity originate is the third planet of this planetary system.

Thursday, December 17th 2009 - Changing Sun and Planets Images Format from JPEG to alpha masked PNG. This change enable users of Orinetz Orbit Simulator to take the pictures of occultation and eclipse events.
