Why It Rocked: Picking out the PC Game of the Year is usually a tough choice and this year wasn't a whole lot different. On one hand you have one of the biggest and most complete role-playing games ever made, a racing sequel that did nearly everything right, and a strategy sequel that provides a stellar upgrade to one of the best strategy games on PC. Through all of that, one game stood out as providing some of the most entertaining gameplay of the year in both single player and multiplayer. It's amazing to see a game so completely developed as to have so few flaws, which is why Company of Heroes has nabbed the award for best PC game. The campaign was immaculately designed, multiplayer fast and fun, visuals amazing, environments destructible and used thoroughly in gameplay, sound wonderful, and all of it was presented as a complete package from start to finish. Company of Heroes is one of the best real-time strategy games that has ever been made and absolutely deserves the award for Best PC Game for 2006.
