An Association for currently active duty personnel and former members of the 7th Infantry Division who saw service during World Wars I or II, Korea, Panama, or peacetime service.
The purpose of the Association is to establish and maintain a nonprofit, tax exempt organization, operating as a fincially self-sustaining, non-governmental, private veteran's organization. Membership, on a voluntary basis, is solicited from the ranks of personnel, both male and female, who are either currently serving or have honorably served with the 7th Infantry Division. Service may have been in war or peace. All personnel who served in units attached to or in support of the Division in time of war or under combat conditions shall also be eligible for membership, as well as spouses of deceased members and their children.
The object of the Association is to preserve and strengthen the bonds of friendship and comaradeire among the members through reunions, meetings, publications and other social activities. Our most recent reunion was held in Dayton, Ohio in September, 1999. It was attended by over 300 members and guests. Our next reunion will be in the State of Wisconsin.
Membership applications can be requested from the address above or by e-mail as an attachment. The initial membership fee is $25.00 and the biennial renewal dues are $15.00 in July of the reunion year. Active duty personnel are exempt from biennial dues.
For your membership you will be placed in our database of all active and former members of the Division. You will receive a paid-up membership card, lapel pin, auto decal, a copy of the current newsletter, and a copy of our Constitution and By Laws.
