Introduction

The AIBA Oceania Olympic Qualifying Tournament and Oceania Continental Championships takes place in Samoa, from April 21st to 25th (dates referring to the first and the last day of competition). The Tournament will be held in the country's capital, Apia.  The boxers will chase 11 Olympic qualifiying spots over 11 weight categories, from 48 kg to +91 kg. The Olympic qualifying tournament is conducted in accordance with AIBA Competition Rules (4 rounds of 2 minutes and 1 minute break between rounds).  

Note: In an exceptional circumstance, Oceania countries are allowed to enter two teams for this tournament in accordance with a decision made in 2006, ratifying Oceania's Olympic qualifiyng process.
