The U.S. CDC has released updated guidance removing face covering recommendations in counties with “medium” or “low” levels of COVID-19 community transmission.  Based on this updated guidance, all visitors to City facilities are no longer required to wear a face covering, however, they are welcomed. This is subject to change should Penobscot County categorization change to “high” levels of transmission.

Per Federal transit requirements, all Community Connector passengers (and employees) and anyone entering any Bangor International Airport facility MUST wear a face covering, regardless of vaccination status. This requirement remains in place through April 18, 2022 and may or may not be extended.

As a reminder, residents who would rather not visit City Hall to conduct business such as property tax payments, sewer bills, vehicle registrations, and more, can do so by clicking here.

If you haven’t yet, please consider getting a COVID-19 vaccine

All people age 5+ are now eligible for vaccination

While the majority of our neighbors have been vaccinated, there are many reasons why others have chosen not to be.
