Angie had decided that this would be her most perfect Christmas ever, but Den had the biggest surprise in store.
Den called Jan to wish her Happy Christmas. He had a letter from his solicitor to give to Angie, but she had no idea. Her plan was for the day to be the best Christmas ever.
The Fowlers enjoyed opening their Christmas presents with guest, Dot. But Pauline couldn' t keep up the good cheer. She was upset by Arthur's depression and the family not being together.
As they opened their presents at the Vic, Pat stirred up trouble by referring to the Fowlers and their dreadful Christmas gatherings. Wicksy was upset by her reference to Pete and walked out.
Angie wanted a wonderful and perfect Christmas, and it had happened. She confided to Kathy that her best present was that her and Den were together and happy. Kathy kept her doubts quiet.
Angie asked Den if he regretted staying with her, and he shocked her when he admitted he knew she had lied about only having six months to live. He presented her with a letter from his solicitor filing for divorce.
