Sign Up Today for the Can Do! Canned Food Sculpture Competition
The Blacksburg Partnership, a non-profit economic development organization serving the Blacksburg area, announces the Can Do! canned food sculpture competition to take place at the Fork and Cork festival on April 30. Benefitting Feeding America Southwest Virginia local teams will collect canned foods, develop a concept, and then build their most creative sculptures on the festival grounds. Awards will be given in the categories of "People's Choice," "Most Nutritious Meal," and "Most Cans Collected." At the end of the festival, all canned foods will be donated to the Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry.
