Holotype ZRC 2.5291 Named after Aaron Matthew Bauer of Villanova University. Diagnosis.A moderately large species of Cnemaspis (SVL 64.9 mm); supralabial to midorbital position 11–13; supranasals in contact; no ridge of tubercles bordering anterior margin of ears or extending from ear to nape; posterior supralabials lack longitudinal keels; fifth finger longer than fourth; preanal and femoral pores absent in adult males; median subcaudal scales enlarged, keeled; enlarged tubercles on tail whorls; lamellae under Toe IV 26–27; dorsal tubercles lacking white tips, not keeled; tail lacking dark bands.
