New: 2007 Conference Registration Historic
Founded in 1980, the Canadian Science and Technology
Historical Association (CSTHA) is a national society devoted to the
study of the history of Canadian science and technology. Our primary
mission is to make our scientific and technical history better known
and to make this subject an important element in Canadian
historiography. We have been a member of the Canadian Federation for the
Humanities and Social Sciences since 2003. The Association's
archives are held by York
University Archives.
Objectives
To rearch these
objectives, the CSTHA has several mandates:
- > to form a research community
- > to sustain both teaching and
research
- > to encourages respect for our heritage
- > to diffuse new knowlegde through
conferences
- > to publish the journal Scientia
Canadensis
- > to inform member through Dialogue
CSTHA
