AFL Club

The ADFA Rams Australian Football League (AFL) Club provides cadets and staff at ADFA with a professional and fun sporting club. The club currently hosts three teams; two male and one female. The AFL Club has been one of the largest and strongest clubs at ADFA since its opening in 1986. The club attempts to provide members with a competitive competition in the Canberra District Football League and also provides many social functions throughout the year.

The ADFA Rams are not confined to the Canberra District Football League and play in the Defence Force Competition in Kapooka every year. ADFA has won the Kapooka 12's tournament consecutively for the last two years. The club also hosts pre-season trips and end of season trips to further provide club cohesion and overall enjoyment for all members participating. Social events for the year consist of formal functions such as "Rams at the Races" and casual function such as "Trivia Night". During any social function members are encouraged to enjoy themselves amongst fellow Rams members.

The ADFA Rams welcomes all newcomers, whether at the beginning of or during the season. Our club is based on member satisfaction and enjoyment for all. We encourage affiliation and membership and look forward to seeing you at ADFA.
