The EU's Court of Justice dealt a blow against Europe's continued resistance to GM foods last week, saying that member nations could no longer ban approved crops. But while that is opening the continent up the the controversial crop technology, evidence is mounting the GM crops are both dangerous – and increasingly ineffective.
