In the September 2008 issue of Ecological Applications Chuixiang Yi et al. measured horizontal and vertical advective CO2 fluxes in a high-elevation, subalpine forest in Colorado (USA) and discuss their contribution to net ecosystem exchange. The Yi et al. paper is part of an Invited Feature focusing on the problems of measuring surface – atmosphere exchange in “difficult conditions.” » more
