Transit keeps cities moving at the lowest possible cost.  Without transit, we would need to build more roads than taxpayers or the environment could support.  Furthermore, traffic congestion is expensive for our economy. Though the congestion in the Kenora area isn’t comparable to Toronto, or even Winnipeg, it helps congestion and the environment to limit the number of vehicles that we have on the road.
