Welcome to the Multi-Organ Transplant Program (MOTP) at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) in London, Canada. Our website provides information about the donation and transplantation process in London and the surrounding area.

The Multi-Organ Transplant Program at LHSC is one of the leading transplant programs in Canada, performing about 160 transplants annually. More than 4,000 Canadians have received transplants, including heart, kidney, kidney-pancreas, liver, and multi-visceral transplantation, at University Hospital and Children's Hospital of Western Ontario.

The organ donation rate in the London region is among the highest in Canada - almost double the provincial and national averages. But that is still not enough to meet the need. That is why the staff and researchers in the Multi-Organ Transplant Program dedicate their energy and resources to finding solutions. Through both clinical trials and scientific research, we continually search for ways to improve patient outcomes.
