The title track and third single from "True Blue" was a love song that of course raced up the charts. It hit No. 1 in the U.K. and was a top ten hit just about everywhere else. There are two different videos for "True Blue." MTV held a "Make My Video" contest, asking viewers to make their own clip for "True Blue." The winners were Angel Gracia and Cliff Guest; their video was the U.S. release. The international video was directed by James Foley and featured a white-blond Madonna doing a retro girl-group thing (with Debi Mazar along for the ride).
