Mark himself is releasing a special limited edition version of the album which will also include a bonus DVD. This DVD will feature footage filmed over the past two years plus some different versions of album tracks, videos, live sessions, demos etc.

Mark is currently being compiling and editing the DVD (in between touring and promoting the album release) and should be finished in the coming weeks. The new album and extended artwork for the limited edition version minus the forthcoming DVD is now ready and has been sent to all that have pre-ordered. As soon as the DVD is finished then this will be sent out to complete the limited edition package!

The only place that this limited edition version of the album is available is through www.oxfordmusic.net. This version of the album will be strictly limited to 2500 copies worldwide. Pre-orders have now been mailed out and all proceeds for the online sales have been directly responsible for providing the means to make the record.

Currently there are still copies for sale but as this is a limited edition this stock will not last forever so we advise those interested to purchase sooner rather than later in order to avoid later inflated prices on ebay etc. New T-shirts are also available based on the album cover design through www.oxfordmusic.net and again this is a limited stock.

Mark has not long finished a North American tour with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. The tour was a great success for both acts with the majority of the dates selling out and ending with a fantastic sell out finale at The Henry Fonda Theater in LA on the 10th October. Mark was accompanied by the wonderful Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Cat Martino and the West Coast-based Danny Black (from The September Gurls). Both musicians feature on Mark’s new album and are currently working on future solo and band projects that come highly recommended by Mark. Following the success of this tour and initial US record sales, Mark then returned immediately for a short North American headline tour in December with a full backing band.

In March/April 2006 Mark is also going out on the road in the UK and Ireland playing a brief series of headline shows. These will be “solo+” shows with Mark joined on stage by a series of pedals, loops and samples to enhance his guitar and voice. Mark Gardener The full list of dates are at the bottom of this page.

Not content with completing and promoting his own record, Mark has been busy working with French duo rinôçérôse. Back in 2004 Mark co-wrote and sang on a couple of tracks that the duo was working on in their studio in Montpelier. The tracks now feature on their V2 album "Schizophonia" which was released across Europe in September. Rinôçérôse have been playing a number of festival shows across Europe throughout the summer and autumn. Mark has been a guest vocalist for most of these shows - when they have not clashed with his own tour schedule - so he's been hopping across the English Channel almost every weekend to various destinations in France, Belgium, Spain Italy and Switzerland.

Finally, Mark would like to thank all of you who have purchased the limited edition CD, Live at the Knitting Factory NYC. All copies have now been sold. Mark would also like to thank all of those that have pre-ordered the new limited edition version of "These Beautiful Ghosts" along with all that have bought the USA version and all the people who have been coming to the shows and for all the enthusiastic comments and good vibes about the shows and the new album!
