The Nernst/Goldman Equation Simulator 

Developed in conjuction with Biomedical Communications at the The University of Arizona for the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Designed and programmed by Michael Branch under the direction of Dr. Stephen Wright.

Please see the requirements if you have trouble viewing the web version of the simulator. For a detailed description of features and help using the simulator, see the help section on using the simulator.

LaunchYou can launch the web version of the simulator (you may need to turn off pop-up blockers), or download a stand-alone version that will run on your computer without an Internet connection.

The simulator is still in development as of April 2006—additional documentation, features, and functionality are yet to come so check back frequently for updates.

You are free to copy, distribute, display, and perform this work. This website will be the home of all revised versions of the simulator. We recommend periodically downloading the latest version from this website.

 

Requirements

 

The web version of the simulator requires the Flash Player 8 plug-in. Flash Player is free from Adobe/Macromedia and easy to install.

The downloadable versions of the simulator are stand-alone programs that have no additional plug-in requirements.

The Nernst/Goldman Equation Simulator is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability out of or in connection with this software.

The downloadable versions of the simulator are stand-alone programs that have no additional plug-in requirements.

They are useful when an Internet connection is not readily available, and scale to full-screen by default. When full-screen, press Escape to return to windowed-mode.
