The Newark High School Marching Band is in high gear and entertaining audiences at the Wildcat football games at White Field. Meanwhile, the orchestra, choir and drama are practicing long hours for their upcoming fall performances.
It’s not too late to enroll your child in After School Adventures. Space is still available for students in grades 3-5 at the following elementary schools - Cherry Valley, Ben Franklin, Carson, John Clem and McGuffey.
There’s a chill in the air which means more cooking and baking. So gather up those Box Tops and Campbell’s Soup labels and drop them off at a nearby elementary school.  
Here’s a great offer for the month of September. All Newark City School volunteers can get their fingerprinting done for free. That’s right, free.
