This page provides links to the full text of all Draft Statutory Instrument published after 1 November 1997 and all new Draft Statutory Instruments awaiting approval. They will remain on this site until such time as they are superseded by a Statutory Instrument or until they are withdrawn.
The aim is to publish these documents on this website simultaneously with their publication in printed form.
From June 2004 onwards the Explanatory Memorandum, setting out a brief statement of the purpose of an instrument and providing information about its policy objective and policy implications, which are produced to accompany any Statutory Instrument or Draft Statutory Instrument laid before Parliament have been published on this website. They are not available in printed form.
