The film includes archival footage and stills from the collections of the British Scout Association, the Boy Scouts of America, the Scouts of Canada, the British Film Institute, the National Film Archive, Washington, D.C., the Library of Congress Film Archives, EMI Pathe, British Movietone, Visnews, the Bettmann Archive, the Mansell Collection, the National Army Museum and the Imperial War Museum.

and the 50th anniversary of British Scouting.
** The XV World Jamboree was scheduled for the summer of 1979 in Iran, but was cancelled
because of political unrest in the country.

****   The XXI World Jamboree commemorated the 150th anniversary of the birth of Baden-Powell
and the 100th anniversary of the World Scouting Movement.

OTHER JAMBOREE LINKS

  Scouting will celebrate its 100th Anniversary at the 21st World Scout Jamboree to be held in Chelmsford, Essex, England hosted by the UK Scout Association. The motto of the Jamboree is "One World, One Promise."
Imperial Jamboree, Wembley Park, 1924. Held in conjunction with the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley, the Jamboree brought together over 12,000 Scouts from the Commonwealth.
