Program CC Demos
For more insight on the operation and features of Program
CC, download the software without charge and run it in Demo
mode. While the size of systems that can be analyzed in Demo
mode is quite limited, you can experience the Program CC interface
and functionality. You can also run built-in ProgramCC demos
for basic how to do it demonstrations.

Program CC brings many methods to one core disciplinedynamic
analysis and control system design.
- Program CC implements a broad range of control system design
methods from Bode to root locus to linear quadratic optimal control.
- Graphics and design methods are implemented using high level,
user-friendly functions.
- Control system designers can work quickly, efficiently, and
confidently with the right tools, whatever the task or approach.
- Program CC now runs under Microsoft Windows®.

Program CC enables you to model systems efficiently and accurately.
- Program CC makes it easy to use and combine a variety of representations
such as transfer functions, transfer function matrices, real matrices,
and state space quadruples.
- Program CC provides generic componentssuch as the first-order
lag, Pade, Butterworth, and other filtersto speed
up model construction.
- Equation interpreters simplify complex model manipulation.
- Program CC is used for linear analysis and linear simulations

You need specialized control system design software to apply familiar
methods in a high productivity environment. You also need a program
that will help you understand and effectively use new, advanced techniques
for the increasingly complex systems and more precise performance
specs of the future. In other words, you need Program CC.
Classical Control
- Dedicated transfer function data types and interactive graphics
simplify design work.
- Do simple things simply. Easily generate and modify the classical
design plotsBode, Nyquist, Nichols, root locus, Bode-siggy
root locus, and time histories.
Digital Control Systems
- Easily move through the s,z, and w domains, then back to the
time domainwhether working with transfer functions, state
space models or both.
- Ideal for complex, multirate-sampled data design.
Multi-input, Multi-output Systems (MIMO)
Sophisticated MIMO commands simplify state space operations, including:
- Eigenvalue/Eigenvector/Shur vector calculations.
- Pole placement.
- Lyapunov/Sylvestor/Riccati equations.
- Balanced realizations.
- Singular value calculations.
Attack real world problems with a variety of optimal control methods
Wiener-Hopf, LQR, LQG, and H2.

You can customize Program CC to your specific problems and methods.
- Use functions to initiate complex sequences of commands with
a few keystrokes.
- Use "FOR, WHILE, and IF" and other flow control commands.
- Improved capability to create subdirectories for different
projects.

Program CC works as a "control system calculator" for simple
jobs. For manpower-intensive, interactive, detail design:
- Conduct trade studies by entering successive parameter values
in a function.
- Use flow control to automatically sequence through a range of
parameters.
- Automate model building, graphic displays, and any other commands
for repetitive analysis.
- Cycle through a complex analysis sequence and automatically
generate a customized, multi-page design report.

The Program CC Version 5.0 software may be "activated"
to the limited Student Level or as the industrial strength
Professional Level. The features and commands of the two Levels
are identical, however the Student Level has limits on the size
of the system that can be analyzed and the memory available for
variables. The Student Level is adequate for most instructional
or self-study applications. The Professional Level software has
no limits on capacity other than those imposed by the computer hardware.
