The duplicated scenes from A New Hope are so shot-for-shot faithful that the whole project feels boxed in by its reverence rather than freed up to cut loose with the fearless bravado that we tune into Family Guy for.
instead of doing a half-hearted rip-off, they made a perfect match of the two pop culture phenomena
nothing more than a big hunk of bantha podo.
Family Guy's parody on one of the most loved science fiction films of all time, Blue Harvest, isn't your typical parody. It's actually very clever in what it does and although Robot Chicken did the better parody thi is of a higher quality then an average Family Guy episode.

Funny spoof. Not memorable or anything but it made me laugh.
Family Guy spoof of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. I found it less funnier than the other 2 movies that followed this one but the movie is still funny and cool. Family Guy rocks! Family Guy: Blue Harvest kicked off the sixth season of the animated sitcom. The episode, the first hour long broadcast in the show's history, featured a nearly episode-long spoof of Star Wars with each of the show's characters portraying one of the famous heroes or villains from George Lucas' revered science fiction film. .
