Since her launch in 1997, Saga Rose has gone from strength to strength, earning an enviable reputation thanks to her welcoming atmosphere, great value and excellent service, entertainment and cuisine. We are therefore delighted to introduce Saga Ruby which, as Saga Rose’s sister ship, is the ideal choice for upholding these high standards.

Boasting the same elegant lines, spacious public rooms and well-appointed cabins as her sister ship, Saga Ruby is set to undergo an extensive refurbishment and you can read more about this refit on the Saga Ruby: Life on Board page.

Saga Ruby’s season of cruises for 2005 is as diverse as it is innovative. Alongside traditional cruise destinations such as the Baltic, Mediterranean, Canary Islands and Caribbean, Saga passengers will also be able to cruise to the USA and Canada for the first time, including New York, Boston, Quebec and Montreal.

As well as Saga Ruby’s inaugural season, we are also introducing a new collection of cruises aboard Saga Rose sailing in 2005. For the first time she will cruise around the British Isles, as well as embarking on a unique Trafalgar Anniversary Cruise to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. New ports of call include Tripoli in Libya and Alexandria, the gateway to Cairo and the Pyramids.
