First Citizens Redistricting Commission Meeting in Claremont
The Citizens Redistricting Commission will hold its first offsite public meeting in the City of Claremont. In its inaugural redistricting process since its creation through Prop. 11 in 2008, the Citizens Redistricting Commission is charged with drawing the boundaries to state and congressional districts. The four day meeting will cover process and organizational questions, with a period set aside for public comment likely on the 12th and 13th. Click here for a message from commissioner Jeanne Raya.
