VR Visualisation of FE Analysis of the Uddevalla Bridge

We are using virtual reality techniques to provide intuitive visualisation of the result of FEA simulations on the new cable stayed bridge at Uddevalla.

We have looked at both the CAD geometry of the bridge and worked with the FE results. In particular, we have investigated the natural frequency of the bridge using animated egenmodes, and used isosurfaces to inspect the internal stresses of the structure when under load.
