Welcome To The South Western Regional Planning Agency

The South Western Region of Connecticut has long been the most important gateway between the Mid-Atlantic region and New England. This 225 square-mile panhandle, part of the New York City metropolitan area, forms the far southwestern corner of both Connecticut and the entire six-state New England region. As a result, the South Western Region's development patterns, transportation system, economy and environmental quality have significant bearing on surrounding regions as well as the eight cities and towns that comprise the region served by SWRPA.        Translate to español  or another Language
