Mystery
When a winter wonderland window display is unveiled, it turns out to be a crime scene.
Following the death of a bakery owner, a clown becomes a suspect whose life hangs in the balance because of Det. Flack.
The third edition of the "CSI" franchise sets up shop in the Big Apple, where taciturn Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) leads a crime-solving team. Like his counterparts in Las Vegas and Miami, Taylor knows that people may lie,… More but the evidence rarely does. In the city that never sleeps, CSI: NY never rests.
A spin-off from CSI: Miami, the third edition to the CSI franchise follows a New York City forensics team/police officers headed by former tough Marine Major, Det. Mac Taylor. Against a backdrop of simmering ethnic and cultural tensions, Taylor probes cases similar to their Las Vegas and Miami counterparts, along with his team of Detectives, consisting of Det. Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo), Det. Lindsay Monroe (Anna Belknap), and Det. Dr. Sheldon Hawkes (Hill Harper). The CSIs work alongside Medical Examiner Sid Hammerback (Robert Joy), lab rat Adam Ross (A.J. Buckley), hardcore homicide Det. Don Flack (Eddie Cahill) and the newest addition to the team, Det. Jo Danville (Sela Ward), an experienced investigator from Washington, D.C., whose work is driven by her empathy for the victim. Former team members include the late Det. Aiden Burn (Vanessa Ferlito) and Mac's former second in command, Det. Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes).
**I would like to have you note that the idea for this thread was from Heather (numberschick). She's so smart** I know most of you are disappointed and annoyed with all the new rules about OT over at The M&M; Club, but I have come with a present. This thread is for all of you who like to go OT,… More whether it contains DL or not. Here you can be yourself, without any rules and can talk about anything you like, post anything you like (links, avies etc.)............D/L, Grease, etc! Just remember to post anything that can be a multi-threader in both threads! This thread's modo is: 'Talk it Up........What Can We Say, It's New York!' This is my present to you because I love you all so much! **hugs** Ash
Okay so it's basically the same as the guess the episode picutre game, but this way people who can't post pictures are able to play too. okay so you type in a quote from an episode and people then guess what episode it's from. here we go: Lindsay: "You know it's scientifically… More proven that petting a cat can lower your blood pressure"
oc so i saw this game on the OC bored and thouht id bring it to CSI:NY ok here goes. a person puts up 2 choices for example; season 2 or season 3 then someone posts their choice and then chooses another two choices
CSI NY is Gr8 but I can not believe stella is gone, that's a bummer. hide show
This episode was 1 of the best yet ever...The storyline was very intense and just when I thought it could not get any better.... BOOM!!!!!!! The suspense get's even more intense. The way every piece of evidence is collected, every little detail no matter how little is precise and on point... I just finished watching 10/22/10 episode and I just always love the way the story ends I just can not believe that she threw that diamond, emerald & gold ring in that wishing well, it is a ending that leave's you content and mesmerized as well as leaving you with the question, "What would you do? What would your conscious say?"
A great edition to the CSI series hide show
CSI NY is a fantastic show 99% of the time. There are a number of thing that i like about the show. The storylines are gripping a keep me guessing until the end of the episode. I am impressed that now heading into the 7th season the storylines remain great however i must admit that season 6 stories have not been as good as previous years, saying that there have been some good episodes. The subplots throughout the seasons are fantastic. The ongoing serial cases always provided great storylines. Season 4 had two of these. The 333 stalker and the cabby killer, both of which were well written and gripping. Season 5 had the greek antiqities thing. This story was a little hard to follow but i liked the episode in cyprus. Season 6 had the compass killer storyline which was also interesting but strange. The season finales are fanstastic my favourites are pay up (S5) and snow day (S3) both are action packed and epic. The seem to combine emotion and action. One finale i didn't like as much as the others was vaction getaway, it was something different however the casey storyline bored me a little. The characters have good relationships Danny and Lindsey and Mac and Stella. All the team are like a family (sounds pretty sad :))
I like CSI NY mainly for the storylines are cast chemistry, it's a shame Stella's leaving :(
This is the most awesomest show ever, and it is the best CSI in all of the 3. This show has everything, awesome cast, awesome stories, and awesome songs( backround songs). I absolutley LOVE this show!!! CSI:NY should never be cancelled, it should never end! The speciality of this show is that it has the hottest cast, the stories are very gritty and they potray it really well. The shots of New York City are taken beautifully, really makes you think they are in New York. And the guest stars are great too, like Nelly, Nelly Furtado, Kevin Rahm, etc. And the crossovers with other shows are great too. So, final word is: CSI:NY is the best show!!
CSI: New York is by far the best show on television right now. The episodes always keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters really bring the show together. Gary Sinise(Mac) creates a perfect main character that has a hard side but really genuinely cares about his team. Melina Kanakaredes(Stella)plays a great second in command who compliments Mac's character amazingly. The other main characters create a great group of people that would be the perfect work companions. CSI:NY is a show that is very addictive and makes you wait in anticipation every week for the next episode to come on. The best show on tv right now
This show just brings excitement every episode. the Third part in the CSI Francise lands in the very city of New York. With Gary Sinise playing the lead role as Det. Mac Taylor this show should get some good ratings. I noticed that this team is very close and that Taylor and Bonasera are just really good friends. ( I apologise if this part of the review offended anyone.) In the latest episode Second Chances Kim Kardashian was a good guest star. This show brings in some of the greatest actors as guest star. One guest star I would like to see would be Matthew Bomer or Matthew Gray Gubler. or have a crossover between CSI: NY and Criminal Minds.
greatest show EVER! :) :)
