Cross River Gorillas The Cross River Gorilla is Africa’s most endangered primate and one of the world’s 25 most endangered primate species. There are currently just 250-300 individuals still present in the wild.
'Red Tranquillity' African elephants embody the very essence and wonder of the African wilderness. Gentle and intelligent giants, with a rich family life, seeming to direct us to a long lost past when great beasts once roamed our earth in forgotten eons.
'Spotted' At times invisible, lazing around in the heat of the noon, this African Leopard finds solitude on the limb of a tree. Just who has spotted who is the question ...
'Playful Spirit' A playful spirit, struggling to stay awake. Chimpanzees have individual personalities and rich social lives. It is difficult to believe that these fun loving, intelligent primates are now endangered.
What's on the Easel? July 2009 - Daniel has completed the second Cross River Gorilla painting. Official presentation follows soon. Also on the easel: Ethiopian Wolf and Cape Griffon vulture. Watch this space for updates and work in progress ...
