the newly revamped Yahoo! Sports brings more depth and
breadth of information, including original content from The
Sporting News (http://www.sportingnews.com), events, timely
scores and statistics from SportsTicker®, top stories of

"Currently sports is one of the most popular areas of the
Yahoo! service. By bringing together a broader variety of
sports programming in one place, Yahoo! Sports now offers
users a true one-stop source to find all of the news, stats,
scores and information they want," said Tonya Antonucci,
producer of Yahoo! Sports. "In addition, we've created the
ideal medium for advertisers and best-of-breed content
providers alike to reach large, targeted audiences on the
Web."
Find It All in One Place
Yahoo! Sports now features a dynamic front page that

navigate to their favorite sports or league pages. Expanding
upon the pre-existing relationship with The Sporting News,
Yahoo! Sports also provides team pages and player bios for
the NBA, NHL, NFL, Major League Baseball (MLB), Division 1
college football and college basketball. The team pages
provide analysis of game action, player movement and
injuries and other team happenings from The Sporting News
local beat reporters along with SportsTicker scores, team
schedules and standings, daily notes and links to official
team Web sites and other team resources from Yahoo!. With
the addition of the local team reports, users can now track
their favorite teams along with the comprehensive
